A NFT Stands for non-fungible token. They create unique digital signature that it put of the digital assessment meaning it is a one-of-a-kind item that can be both and sold for real money, cryptocurrency and other non-fungible tokens meaning they are not interchangeable and are unique assists owned by a specific person. Each NFT has a digital marker showcasing the owner and seller. NFT creates something called a block chain a process in which the transaction of assets can be recorded. This when creates a certificate that is given this digital project its own unique identity.

Now why am I explaining this to you? Well because Quentin Tarantino has created NFT’s of pulp fiction. Unpublished script pages of his classic film are now being published as NFTs prompting a legal dispute with Miramax. They see this as him infringing on the intellectual property of one of their products. The legal aspect is a tricky one the creator of the NFT needs permission from the copyright owner to but there work up for sale. Now Tarantino is obviously the creator of Pulp Fiction however Miramax argues the film was created under there company meaning they have the rights.  The debates of who owns NFTs is an inserting one and is still going on although this debate is certainly an interesting one for sure.
