The acting in the film is good. Megan Lai does a good job as Hsiung Ying-ying, a former legislator who entered parliament to oppose a controversial factory plant. Bruce Hung does a good job as Wang You-wei a security guard turned legislator who has been in love with ying-ying since childhood. Wang Chung-huang does a good job as Li Kuo-chung a crooked gangster-politician. Tuo Tsung-hua does a good job as Ying-ying’s father a handman in parliament who has romantic feelings for Feng-hua. Francesca Kao does a good job as Wang Freng-hua a human resources staff member of parliament. Da-her Lin does a good job as Ku Te-you a student undergoing substitute military service as a security guard in parliament.
